Trustee - Newquay Foodbank (Volunteer Secretary to Board of Trustees)

Foodbanks provide essential community services to people in crisis. As a Newquay Foodbank Trustee you will support the trustee board to fulfil its responsibilities for the overall governance and strategic direction of the Newquay Foodbank.

You will have oversight of the charity’s activities, guiding it within its core purpose ensuring the food bank abides by its constitutional and legal obligations.

Supporting other Trustees you will manage the charities resources and long-term plans. Your support will make a real impact within the community, ensuring families and individuals who are facing the very real issue of food poverty are not alone and receive the help they need.

A DBS check will be required for this role.
