Customer Service Volunteer (Bromley) (Borough)

Our foodbank provides emergency food and compassionate, practical support to people in crisis, while also campaigning for a UK where no one needs to rely on food banks. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers who generously give their time, we are able to support thousands of people when they need it most.

The Customer Service & Fuel Bank Voucher Volunteer role is vital to our work. You will support the foodbank by responding to voicemail messages from members of the public who are seeking food and practical support, including referrals to the Fuel Bank.

This role would suit someone who is confident using a computer, polite, caring, and able to listen carefully to people’s needs.

The role takes place every Friday between 10:00am and 3:00pm, for up to 5 hours per week. Volunteering is done from home, so you will need access to a computer and a phone, as we are unable to provide equipment. Applicants must be residents of the Bromley Borough area
