Social Media and Communications Volunteer

Through our social media platforms, we are aiming to gain support for our activity as a food bank. We are looking for a Social Media volunteer to help oversee and drive this important activity forward and enable us to elevate the voice of food bank staff, volunteers, and those with first-hand experience of hardship.

Volunteering is a fantastic way for you to be involved in your local community and our volunteers are at the heart of all that we do as a food bank. The role of volunteers dedicating their time and skills will continue to be critical as we work to fulfil our vision of seeing the UK without the need for food banks.

This role can be done from home; however, you will be required to spend some time in the food bank to understand how the food bank operates and to engage with other volunteers and our staff.

4 to 7 hours weekly
