Foodbank fundraising coordinator - St Neots (St Neots)

Do you have a couple of hours spare in a week? Would you like to make a difference to those struggling most in our community?

Food banks provide essential community services to people in crisis, but our vision is a world where we are not needed. As a Food bank fundraising coordinator you will help play an important role in helping us achieve that vision.

This role is focused on maximising the funds raised by the food bank, so that we can partner with other local agencies to tackle the root causes of food poverty. By researching and applying for grants and other funding opportunities, this role will help to ensure the foodbank offers holistic support rather than just emergency food.

Although fundraising experience would be desirable, it's not essential, as training can be provided. This role will involve some remote working and some meetings based at the Foodbank or other locations within the St Neots area. We anticipate it taking up around 2-3 hours a week, but it can be developed further.

St Neots Foodbank was founded and is managed by trustees from the town's churches, and we welcome applications from any volunteer who will champion our vision, values and principles.
