Public Support Volunteer

Public support aims to be a supportive, knowledgeable and resourceful hub for Trussells community of food banks and the public. As a public support volunteer, you will form an integral part of our team in helping us to respond to the large volume of public enquiries we receive every week. Together, we will ensure that people who contact Trussell in need of help receive the information and support they need promptly, respectfully and compassionately.

When:

1 volunteer on Fridays, 1pm – 5pm

2 volunteers flexible, any day of week (Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 1:00pm or 1:00pm – 5:00pm) One shift each

You will be given all the required training and support before starting your role, via online webinars. The role will be home-based, and you will be provided with a laptop and other necessary equipment, for example. headset, mouse, keyboard if required. We will provide you with an Office 365 login.
