Warehouse Volunteer
As a key link between food donations and people in crisis, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of your local food bank. Working alongside a friendly and dedicated team, you’ll help sort, pack and organise food and essential items within the warehouse.
What you’ll be doing
• Checking, weighing and recording incoming stock • Sorting food by type and date to ensure it is distributed appropriately • Packing and preparing items ready for distribution • Helping to keep the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
About the role
This is a practical, hands-on role. You’ll be on your feet for most of the shift and should be comfortable with some lifting and moving of stock.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for reliable volunteers who can support the team on a regular basis and enjoy working as part of a team.
