Food Bank Centre Support Volunteer

As one of the welcoming faces of the food bank, you will help create a warm, friendly, and non-judgemental environment for people experiencing hardship.

Your role will begin by preparing the centre for the session. This includes setting up tables and chairs, unloading food and other supplies from storage, and arranging stock in line with the picking list so that it is easy for the team to access while supporting clients.

During the session, you will work alongside the volunteer team to ensure the centre runs smoothly and that clients receive the support they need. At the end of the session, you will help pack away equipment and stock, leaving the venue clean, tidy, and ready for its next use.

Please note that this is a physically active role involving regular manual handling and some heavy lifting.

Location: United Reform Church, Widmore Road, Bromley, BR1 1RY

Time: Tuesdays, 9:30am – 1:15pm
