Food bank centre helper (AD HOC - Cardiff - Llanedeyrn- Wednesdays 1-3pm or Fridays 11:30-1:30pm)

As the welcoming face of the food bank you’ll be sociable, enjoy meeting people and able to offer friendly and caring support to those in crisis. You’ll receive and check food vouchers, prepare food parcels and make refreshments for the people who visit the food bank. You’ll provide a listening ear and support people in accessing other services with compassion and dignity.

This is an ad-hoc volunteer role to help us cover peaks in demand at our distribution centre. We will contact you directly whenever we need extra support for an upcoming distribution session. If you are interested, there may also be opportunities to step in and help out at our other centres across the area as the need arises.

This role is for the the Foodbank sessions on Wednesdays 1-3pm or Fridays 11:30-1:30pm
