English Support Volunteer (English Teacher)

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a class of students to teach informal, functional English. This role will involve the following key tasks:

• Planning and delivering English lessons
• Ensuring appropriate resources are sourced for your class
• Liaising with the Volunteer Coordinator for additional support, or to discuss any planned absences
• Supporting students in your class with their English language needs while in class

As an English Teacher, you will join a team of teachers who can share ideas, offer resources and discuss any issues. The role will require a weekly commitment of at least 3 hours per week of class time, plus extra time for lesson planning, for a full term.
