Food bank centre helper (Food bank centre helper (Shipley))

We're looking for people to join us on Mondays or Thursdays (3pm to 6pm).

There are a few ways you can get involved: Signposting: You’ll enjoy meeting people and be able to offer friendly and caring support to those in crisis. You'll take time to share a warm drink, discuss food requirements, offer a listening ear and, when appropriate, signpost people for further support and help.

Storeroom: You'll help us keep our foodbank running smoothly behind the scenes. This role includes assisting with stock management, organising donations, and helping with set-up and pack-down. If you love a well-labelled shelf and a good team effort, this one's for you!

Kitchen: You'll support our café team to help prepare and serve food to clients and visitors. You'll play a key role in creating a welcoming space by supporting with food prep, service, and keeping the café and kitchen areas clean and tidy.
