As the welcoming face of the food bank you’ll be sociable, enjoy meeting people and able to offer friendly, caring support to those in crisis. You’ll receive and check food vouchers, prepare food parcels, make refreshments for visitors, and ensure items are packed safely and appropriately. You’ll also be comfortable using a computer to record information and support people in accessing other services. Throughout, you’ll provide a listening ear and help people with compassion and dignity.
