English Support Volunteer (GCSE and A-Level Subject Tutor)

As a Tutor, you will provide tailored academic support to students preparing for their GCSEs and A-Levels. This includes 1:1 or small group tutoring to help with subject understand and exam preparation. It ideally involves the volunteer meeting with a client between 1 – 3 times a week over this period. Volunteers can meet with learners in their homes, or in the EERN Hub, depending on the needs and circumstances of the learner. Volunteers will always provide tutoring in the presence of a parent.

The role will require a weekly commitment of at least 2 hours per week of tutoring time, plus extra time for lesson planning, for up to three months per learner.
