Area Team Data and Administrative Support
Location: Home-based
Hours: 4-8 hours per month (1-2 hours per week); up to 1 hour per week attending Trussell meeting during the week (Monday to Friday 10am-4pm) and the rest self-led based on activities and availability.
Why we want you:
As a team across the South East of England, we support 48 food banks with their operational and strategic work as they help those in their local communities. We would love a volunteer to support our work as we continue to further our vision of ending the need for food banks across the South East.
We currently have a wealth of data collected through our Data Collection System, which is currently underutilised. We would like someone with a passion for data analysis and storytelling to join us in analysing and interpreting data relevant to our regional food banks, sharing it amongst the team, and supporting food banks to use it to further their own work.
Support and personal development:
Ideally this role requires a minimum commitment of 12 months. You will receive support and development opportunities from the area team and other teams within Trussell. You will be given all training required over the first few weeks (depending on your experience). You will have a main contact throughout your time volunteering with us. Whatever your background, we want to make sure you are supported, empowered, and enjoy your time volunteering with us. We know that having volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds, and with varying experiences, can help to make what we do as effective as possible. As such, we welcome all applicants regardless of age, religion or beliefs, disability, ethnic background, gender reassignment, sex, or sexual orientation. We also encourage those with lived experience of poverty to apply.
