Communications support volunteer
Why we want you This role supports the Trussell Volunteering Team in planning and delivering communications to our key audiences. These include food bank project managers/volunteer managers, food bank volunteers, and Trussell staff and volunteers. The communications are delivered via several different channels, including email, newsletters, social media, and a system-based news feed. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as we have recently launched our new refreshed brand, to support removing barriers to support and galvanising more people to play their part in ending hunger together.
Where you will be based: Home
When: 3-4 hours a per week (flexible which days, with commitment to meet your main contact during Monday – Friday)
Support and personal development:
Ideally, this role requires a minimum commitment of twelve months. You will receive support and development opportunities from the volunteering team and other teams within Trussell. You will be given all training required over the first few weeks (depending on your experience). You will have a main contact throughout your time volunteering with us.
