Warehouse Packer (Southwark Foodbank (Peckham))

Are you organised, hands-on, and passionate about helping others?

Southwark Foodbank is looking for one committed volunteer to support the smooth running of our warehouse in Peckham.

This role is key in ensuring food donations are safely sorted, packed, and made ready to support individuals and families in crisis across our community. We're looking for someone who can commit to volunteering every Thursday from 9:30am to 1:00pm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Sorting and packing food and hygiene items for distribution

• Weighing, checking, and recording incoming stock

• Organising items by type and use-by date

• Helping to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and efficient

What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable and detail-oriented

• Physically fit and comfortable with some heavy lifting

• Able to stand and move around for extended periods

• A team player with a positive attitude

This is a voluntary position, but your time and effort will have a lasting impact on those facing hardship in Southwark.
