Why we want you: Network Services aims to be a supportive, knowledgeable and resourceful hub for the food bank network and the public. As a Customer Service Volunteer, you will form an integral part of our team in helping us to respond to the large volume of public enquiries we receive every week. Together, we will ensure that people who contact the Trussell Trust in need of help receive the information and support they need promptly, respectfully and compassionately.

Role based: Home based

When: Thursday 9am-1pm

Ideally this role requires a minimum commitment of 12 months. You will need to be 18 years old and above to apply for this role. A laptop will be provided, and you will need access to the internet. The role will be home based, and you will be provided with a laptop and other necessary equipment e.g. headset, mouse, keyboard if required. We will provide you with an Office 365 login.

You will receive support and development opportunities from the volunteering team. You will be given all training required over the first few weeks (depending on your experience). You will be part of a team of ten volunteers in this role, and you will have a main contact throughout your time volunteering with us. Whatever your background, we want to make sure you are supported, empowered, and enjoy your time volunteering with us. We know that having volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds, and with varying experiences, can help to make what we do as effective as possible.
