Supermarket collection volunteer (Andover Foodbank)

You’ll understand the importance of supermarket collections in raising awareness of the food bank and be comfortable approaching people, handing them a shopping list and asking for a food donation. You’ll sort donations and deliver them to the local food bank. Your positive, friendly and enthusiastic approach will help to encourage and maximise food donations for those in crisis in your local community.

We run monthly supermarket collections and are always looking to grow our bank of volunteers. There’s no fixed commitment — just join us when you can. It’s a relaxed and welcoming way to give back, with fun days spent chatting to the people of Andover while making a real difference.
